DIY Simple Rose Water Face Mist

Confession time  - I live in San Diego, but I hate the heat. Anything over 80 degrees and I start complaining like a baby. I suppose it's good I don't live anywhere with actual seasons, otherwise I would be in serious trouble.

However, I can't seem to get over the fact that the majority of February has been in the 80's + even creeping into the 90's at my house. It just. isn't. fair. Plus, being pregnant means I'm always hot, even when everyone else is fine.

So what's a girl to do? I whipped up some light, fresh rose water face mist to keep on hand! It smells amazing and it relieves the heat and allows my pregnant brain to stop bitching for a minute. Win win! I absolutely love the rose water mist from Herbivore Botanicals, but I can't justify spending $32 on something I can easily make myself. So here's my copy cat DIY!

  • 1/2 TSP vitamin E oil
  • 2 drops of peppermint essential oil
  • 2 drops Geranium essential oil
  • 4 TBSP Pure Moroccan Rose Water
  • 3 TBSP coconut water
Add your oils to a glass spray bottle, add rose water + top off with coconut water. Shake + spray.
Like I said, super simple!
