Favorite Breakfast

So this isn't really a recipe post as much as it is a breakfast appreciate one. I love breakfast, it's my favorite.

About 3 days a week I make this little fruit parfait and take it to work with me. One of my coworkers constantly makes fun of me for eating what he thinks is "Pie in a jar"

 
 
I start with delicious fruit. This week I bought a lot of strawberries and nectarines, so that's what I went with this morning.

 
Cut up all your fruit and throw in in a large mason jar (with a lid). I usually sprinkle either a tablespoon or two of ground flaxseed or chia seeds on the fruit at this point
 
 
 
 
Then I add some raw wildflower honey, courtesy of Steven's mom who buys all her staples in bulk and picks them up at a drop point once a year a la Oregon Trail. Add some non-fat, plain Greek yogurt and a sprinkling of granola. I buy my granola from the Sprouts bulk section, so I've been trying all different kinds. This week I have a pumpkin hemp flaxseed granola.
 
 
 
 
Done! Easy peasy, lemon squeezy - as my five year old best friend would say.
